Steven Meechan
Steven Meechan (born 30 March 1991) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Kilbirnie Ladeside in the Scottish Junior Football Association, West Region. He has previously played in the Scottish Premier League for Motherwell. Playing career Signed by Motherwell for the 2007–08 season, Meechan played several matches for the team's U19s side, eventually earning a place on the Motherwell Reserves late on the same season. In 2008, he was awarded his first appearance in the first team line-up, but remained an unused substitute in that match. Three more of these games were to follow, Meechan was also an influential part of the Under 19s at Motherwell often captaining the side. He has also represented Scotland at under 17 and under 19 level. Scottish Junior Football East Region Super League
The Scottish Junior Football Association East Region Premiership, also known for sponsorship reasons as the McBookie.com East Premiership, was the highest division of the East Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association. From its inception in 2002 until 2020, it was known as the SJFA East Region Super League. From the 2007–08 season, the winners of the league were eligible to enter the senior Scottish Cup at its earliest stage, with Linlithgow Rose being the first champions to take part in the Scottish Cup. In 2013–14 the East Super League expanded from its original twelve clubs to sixteen as part of a wider league restructuring in the East Region. Scottish Junior Football Association
The Scottish Junior Football Association (SJFA) is an affiliated national association of the Scottish Football Association and is the governing body for the junior grade of football (soccer), football in Scotland. The term "junior" refers to the level of football played, not the age of the players. The closest equivalent terminology would be non-League football in England, the difference being that junior football in Scotland was not similarly integrated into its Scottish football league system, football league system until 2021. Founded in 1886, the SJFA is responsible for disciplinary matters within the grade, certain player registration procedures and organising the annual Scottish Junior Cup. The Scottish Football League (SFL) was a league featuring professional and semi-professional football clubs mostly from Scotland.One club, Berwick Rangers, is based in the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, which is located approximately 4 km south of the Anglo-Scottish border. From its foundation in 1890 until the breakaway Scottish Premier League (SPL) was formed in 1998, the SFL was the top level of football in Scotland. Stuart McCall
Andrew Stuart Murray McCall (born 10 June 1964) is a professional football coach and former player. He is assistant manager at Sheffield United. McCall played in a total of 763 league games and in 40 full international matches for Scotland during his playing career. McCall started his career with Bradford City, where he made his first-team debut in 1982. He played six seasons at Valley Parade, during which time he won the Division Three championship, a title which was overshadowed by the Bradford City stadium fire when 56 people died and in which his father Andy was injured. After missing out on promotion in 1987–88, McCall moved to Everton, for whom he scored twice but finished on the losing side in the 1989 FA Cup Final. Paul Martin (Scottish Footballer)
Paul Martin (born 8 March 1965) is a Scottish football former player and coach. Martin played for Kilmarnock, Hamilton Academical, Stranraer (on loan), Dumbarton, Albion Rovers and Queen's Park during a 17-year playing career. Martin was captain of the Dumbarton Second Division title-winning team of 1991–92. After retiring he coached at Queen's Park and had a couple of caretaker stints there as well serving as assistant manager.
