Steven Furlano
Steven Vincent Gordon Sonny Furlano (born February 6, 1998) is a Canadian soccer player who plays as a midfielder. Club career Early career Furlano began playing football at the age of five at Barrie SC. He later attended St. Peter’s Secondary School and Bill Crothers Secondary School. Toronto FC In 2013, he joined the Toronto FC Academy, and joined Toronto FC II, Toronto FC's reserve team, ahead of the 2016 USL season. He made his debut as a substitute on May 25, 2016, coming off the bench for the final seven minutes in a 2-1 defeat to Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Alliance United In 2018, Furlano played for League1 Ontario side Alliance United, scoring nine goals in fourteen appearances in league play and made another two appearances in the playoffs. York9 FC On December 20, 2018, Furlano signed his first professional contract with Canadian Premier League side York9 FC. Barrie is a city in Southern Ontario, Canada, about north of Toronto. The city is within Simcoe County and located along the shores of Kempenfelt Bay, the western arm of Lake Simcoe. The 2012 Copa de México de Naciones is the 2nd edition of the Copa México de Naciones Sub-15 and it took place in Mexico from August 10 to August 18. The 2018 Men's League1 Ontario season was the fifth season of play for League1 Ontario, a Division 3 men's soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario. Vaughan Azzurri won the league championship and earned entry into the 2019 Canadian Championship; the top national tournament for men's soccer teams. United Soccer League (USL), formerly known as United Soccer Leagues, is a soccer league in the United States and Canada. It organizes several men's and women's leagues, both professional and amateur. 2016 USL Season
The 2016 USL season was the sixth season of the United Soccer League and the twenty-second season of USSF sanctioned Division III play organized by the United Soccer Leagues. On August 6, 2015, the league announced that the season would consist of 30 games rather than 28 games played from 2013–2015. This was the first increase in the number of games since the league went from 24 games per season in 2012 to 28 games in 2013. The league expanded from 24 to 29 teams in 2016. Six franchises were officially announced by the league: Swope Park Rangers, Orlando City B, Rio Grande Valley FC, FC Cincinnati, Bethlehem Steel FC, and San Antonio FC. Toronto FC II is a Canadian professional soccer team based in Toronto, Ontario, who play in MLS Next Pro, a third tier league of the United States soccer league system. The 2016 Men's League1 Ontario season was the third season of play for League1 Ontario, a Division 3 semi-professional soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario. This season saw the return of all but one of the teams which completed the previous season, as well as the addition of five new teams for the men's division. USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system.
