Steve Williams (caddie)
Steve Williams (born 29 December 1963) is a New Zealander who has served as a caddie for several top professional golfers, most recently with Jason Day. Williams is best known for working as Tiger Woods' caddie from 1999 to 2011. Woods was the top- ranked golfer in the world for much of Williams' tenure as his caddie. Career Williams was born in Wellington. He began caddying at his home club at age 6. By age 10, he was frequently caddying 36 holes on Saturday and Sunday and then practicing his golf game until dark, becoming a two- handicap by age 13. He has said "by the age of thirteen I found myself enjoying caddying more than playing." In 1976 his father arranged for him to carry the bags of five-time Open Championship winner Peter Thomson in the New Zealand Open. The 36th Ryder Cup Matches were held 22–24 September 2006 in Ireland at the Palmer Course of the K Club in Straffan, County Kildare, west of Dublin. Mike Cowan
Michael Thomas "Fluff" Cowan (born February 7, 1948) is a professional golf caddie on the PGA Tour. He is a 40-year tour veteran and one of its best-known caddies. Cowan has caddied for Ed Sabo (1976–1978), Peter Jacobsen (1978–1996), Tiger Woods (1996–1999), Jim Furyk (1999–2024) and Pan Cheng-tsung (2024–present). In 2003, he caddied for then-13-year-old amateur ladies' golfing sensation Michelle Wie for one tournament while Furyk was off due to injury. Butch Harmon
Claude "Butch" Harmon Jr. (born August 28, 1943) is an American golf instructor and former professional player. Early life Butch Harmon was born and raised in New Rochelle, New York. His parents were Claude Harmon, Sr. and Alice Harmon (1918-1970). His father was the head pro at the nearby Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, New York. His father also won two PGA Tour events including 1948 Masters Tournament. The family also lived part of the year in Florida, when Butch's father served as the winter professional at the Seminole Golf Club. The Doral Open was a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour in the southeastern United States. It was played annually for 45 seasons, from 1962 to 2006, on the "Blue Monster" course at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Doral, Florida, a suburb west of Miami. The introduction of the FedEx Cup in 2007 caused a change in the PGA Tour schedule. The WGC-CA Championship, a World Golf Championship event co-sponsored by the PGA Tour, moved from October to March and took the Doral Open's spot on the schedule.
