Steve Schofield
Steve Schofield is a British photographer. He is primarily known for his portraits, especially his narrative portrait style of photography. Some of his photographs of actors, musicians, and writers are included in the London National Portrait Gallery's permanent collection, whilst his body of work titled "Land of The Free" and several other exhibits have been shown in galleries and art festivals throughout Europe. In 2007, ''The Times'' listed Schofield as one of five young artists to watch. He was selected for the group show "Fresh Faced and Wide Eyed" at The Photographers' Gallery in London in 2008. In 2012, he was commissioned by The Photographers' Gallery to produce a piece of work in honor of London's hosting of the 2012 Olympics. Robert Clark, art critic at ''The Guardian'', said in a review of the exhibition "Hotel" that Schofield "is one of the most promising young photo artists around. National Portrait Gallery, London
The National Portrait Gallery (NPG) is an art gallery in London housing a collection of portraits of historically important and famous British people. It was arguably the first national public gallery dedicated to portraits in the world when it opened in 1856. The gallery moved in 1896 to its current site at St Martin's Place, off Trafalgar Square, and adjoining the National Gallery (London), National Gallery. It has been expanded twice since then. The National Portrait Gallery also has regional outposts at Beningbrough Hall in Yorkshire and Montacute House in Somerset. It is unconnected to the Scottish National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh, with which its remit overlaps. John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, and television personality.
