It is the first installment of the ''Beverly Hills, 90210'' franchise. Ian Andrew Ziering (; born March 30, 1964) is an American actor best known for his role as Steve Sanders on the television series ''Beverly Hills, 90210'', which he played from 1990 to 2000. Mark Damon Espinoza (born June 24, 1960) is an American actor known in the NBC series '' The Endgame'' as FBI Director Rodrigo Réal. Carol Potter (born May 21, 1948) is an American actress best known for playing Cindy Walsh on ''Beverly Hills, 90210''. Life and career Potter was born in New York City, New York, and attended high school in Tenafly, New Jersey, and went on to attend Radcliffe College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in social relations. In 1977, she made her Broadway theatre debut in Albert Innaurato's play Gemini, which went on to become the fifth-longest running non-musical play in Broadway history.
