Steve Miller (artist)
Steve Miller (born October 12, 1951, in Buffalo, New York) is an American multi-media artist, who makes paintings, screenprints, artist books, and sculptures. Through his art, he explores the influence of science and technology on modern culture. Education Miller received his BA in 1973 from Middlebury College, and also attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 1973. Career Steve Miller has lived and worked between New York City and Eastern Long Island since 1975. His career trajectory consists of over 50 solo exhibitions at venues such as the National Academy of Sciences, the Hong Kong Arts Centre, Rose Art Museum, the Centre International d’Art Visuels CARGO in Marseilles, and the CAPC musée d'art contemporain de Bordeaux. Axa Equitable Center (originally the Equitable Tower or Equitable Center West) is an office skyscraper at 787 Seventh Avenue, between 51st and 52nd Streets, in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. The Rorschach test is a projective test, projective psychological test in which subjects' perceptions of inkblots are recorded and then analyzed using psychology, psychological interpretation, complex algorithms, or both. White Columns is New York City's oldest alternative non-profit art space. White Columns is known as a showcase for up-and-coming artists, and is primarily devoted to emerging artists who are not affiliated with galleries. All work submitted is looked at by the director.
