Steve Marshall is a Tokyo-based magician, clown, writer and artist who performs in English and Japanese. Marshall became interested in magic at age eight when he received a Marshall Brodien TV Magic Set for Christmas. In 1983 Marshall attended the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College in Venice, Florida. Upon graduation, he was one of only eleven students to receive a performing contract to tour with The Greatest Show on Earth. Marshall Brodien
Marshall Brodien (July 10, 1934 – March 8, 2019) was an American professional magician who played Wizzo the Wizard, a wizard clown character which appeared on WGN-TV's '' Bozo's Circus'' and ''The Bozo Show'' from 1968 to 1994. Early life Brodien was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. At age eight, he took an interest in magic after a magician came to perform at his school. He never graduated high school and began working at age 14, selling and demonstrating magic tricks and novelties at the Magic Center in downtown Chicago. At age 16, Brodien worked at Chicago's Riverview Park, performing magic tricks. Brodien served in the Army during the 1950s at Fort Carson in Colorado and performed more than 700 shows while in the Army at hospitals, non-commissioned officers clubs and private parties. Zephyrhills is a city in Pasco County, Florida, United States. The population was counted at 17,194 in the 2020 census. The city is the headquarters of the Zephyrhills (water), Zephyrhills bottled water company. The current mayor is Melonie Monson. History Zephyrhills began as the town of Abbott on April 18, 1888, and consisted of 280.74 acres. It was briefly renamed Hegman from 1890 to 1892 until its name was reverted back to Abbott. A voting district was established in 1893 followed by a post office in 1896. In 1909, Captain Howard B. Jeffries, a American Civil War, Civil War Union veteran from Pennsylvania, purchased 35,000 acres and created the Zephyrhills Colony Company with a plan to create a community for Civil War veterans. Zephyrhills High School is a public high school in Zephyrhills, Florida, United States. It is one of fifteen public high schools in the District School Board of Pasco County. ZHS athletic teams compete as the Bulldogs. History Zephyrhills High School was created from the consolidations of one-room schools in the Zephyrhills area. Students at the former Union, Childers, and Independence schools were consolidated into the new Zephyrhills school, which was located at the corner of Seventh Avenue and Sixth Street. The new school opened in September 1910. The first principal was Judge J.W. Sanders, who later became the superintendent of Pasco County Schools.
