Steve Katz (politician)
Stephen M. Katz (born August 11, 1953) is an American veterinarian, business owner and politician from Mohegan Lake, New York. He formerly served as a member of the New York State Assembly, representing the 94th Assembly District, including parts of Westchester and Putnam counties. Described by the ''Putnam Examiner'' as "bombastic" and known "for his fiery rhetoric," he announced his retirement from the state legislature in January 2016. Early life Katz was born and grew up in Jericho, a hamlet in Nassau County, New York on the North Shore of Long Island. Yotvata Hai-Bar Nature Reserve
The Yotvata Hai-Bar Nature Reserve is a reintroduction, breeding and reacclimation center administered by the Israel Nature and National Parks Protection Authority, Israel Nature Reserves & National Parks Authority, situated in the Southern Arabah, Arava near Yotvata. The Yotvata Hai-Bar is the desert counterpart of the Carmel Hai-Bar Nature Reserve which operates in the country's Northern Mediterranean forest. Endangered and locally extinct animals mentioned in the Bible are bred here for possible reintroduction to the Negev desert. The National Zoological Park, commonly known as the National Zoo, is one of the oldest zoos in the United States. The zoo is part of the Smithsonian Institution and does not charge admission.
