Steve Philip Jordan (January 15, 1919 – September 13, 1993) was an American jazz guitarist. Career Jordan was born in New York City. He considered himself a rhythm guitarist whose biggest influences were George Van Eps and Allan Reuss. He received lessons from Reuss, who played rhythm guitar for Benny Goodman In the early 1940s Jordan was a member of bands led by Will Bradley, Artie Shaw, and Teddy Powell. After serving with the Navy in World War II, he returned to music as a member of bands led by Bob Chester, Freddie Slack, Glen Gray, Stan Kenton, Jimmy Dorsey, and Boyd Raeburn. When jobs for rhythm guitarists disappeared as big bands dwindled, Jordan became a studio musician for NBC. During the 1950s, he worked with Gene Krupa, Mel Powell, Vic Dickenson, Charles Thompson, Buck Clayton, Ruby Braff, and Benny Goodman. Steve Jordan (born January 14, 1957) is an American musical director, producer, songwriter, and musician. Currently, he is the drummer for the Rolling Stones. During the 1970s and 1980s, he was a member of the bands for the television shows ''Saturday Night Live'' and '' Late Night with David Letterman''. In the early 1980s, Jordan was a member of the band Eyewitness, along with bandleader Steve Khan on guitar, Anthony Jackson on bass, and Manolo Badrena on percussion. Since the mid-1980s, Jordan has also been a member of the X-Pensive Winos, the side project of The Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards. Jordan and Richards have been production and songwriting partners on many of Richards's solo works. In 2005, he became a member of the John Mayer Trio. Esteban "Steve" Jordan (February 23, 1939 – August 13, 2010) was a jazz, rock, blues, conjunto and Tejano musician from the United States. He was also known as "El Parche", "The Jimi Hendrix of the accordion", and "the accordion wizard". An accomplished musician, he played 35 different instruments. Life Born in Elsa, Texas to migrant farm workers and partially blinded as an infant, Jordan was unable to work in the fields. Left at home, he found friendship and guidance among the elderly. At a very young age he was introduced to music, especially the accordion. At the time, the musician Valerio Longoria followed the community of migrant farm workers and played for them in the labor camps. Stephen Robert Jordan (born 6 March 1982) is an English former footballer and team physiotherapist at League Two side Salford City. As a player he was a defender and notably played in the Premier League for Manchester City where he was part of the first team squad from 1999 until 2007. Career In 2009, he co-founded ManMoth Productions, a theatre production group, with Patrick Baker. In 2012, Jordan debuted his first solo production, a science fiction comedy play called 'Dead Static', about two strangers who have an hour to live in deep space.
