Steve Gregory (American Football)
Stephen C. Gregory (born January 8, 1983) is an American football coach and a former safety who is currently the defensive coordinator at Vanderbilt. He was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football and coached at Syracuse. Gregory was also a member of the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs. Early life Gregory lived in Staten Island, New York for most of his youth. He was a Jets fan growing up. He attended St. Margaret Mary Parochial Elementary school grades 6–8 then attended Monsignor Farrell High School before transferring to Curtis High School. He played college football at Syracuse University. San Diego Chargers
The San Diego Chargers were a professional American football team in the National Football League (NFL). The Chargers played in San Diego, California from 1961 until 2016, before relocating back to the Greater Los Angeles area, where the franchise played its inaugural 1960 season. Safety (American And Canadian Football Position)
Safety (S), historically known as a safetyman, is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety (FS) and the strong safety (SS). Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. The defensive responsibilities of the safety and cornerback usually involve pass coverage towards the middle and sidelines of the field. While American (11-player) formations generally use two safeties, Canadian (12-player) formations generally have one safety and two defensive halfbacks, a position not used in the American game. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (colloquially known as the Bucs) are a professional American football team based in Tampa, Florida. Vince Wilfork
Vincent Lamar Wilfork (born November 4, 1981) is an American former professional football player who was a nose tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons, primarily with the New England Patriots. He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes and was selected by the Patriots in the first round of the 2004 NFL draft.
