Steve Felton
Steve "Skinny" Felton (born December 6, 1969) is an American musician, most notable for being the co-founder, visual director, leader, keyboardist, percussionist and tertiary drummer of metal band Mushroomhead. He was also the drummer of the bands Integrity, Hatrix, (216), Tenafly Viper and Scelestus. His other projects include Detroit Ave and 10,000 Cadillacs with fellow Mushroomhead member Jason "J Mann" Popson. He has produced every Mushroomhead album and has directed most of their music videos. Personal life Skinny was married to Vanessa Solowiow, the band's photographer and costume designer, who died in 2013. They both have one son. Alternative Metal
Alternative metal (also known as alt-metal) is a genre of heavy metal music that combines heavy metal with influences from alternative rock and other genres not normally associated with metal. Alternative metal bands are often characterized by heavily Downtuned guitar, downtuned, mid-paced guitar riffs, a mixture of accessible melodic vocals and Screaming (music), harsh vocals and sometimes sounds that are unconventional within other heavy metal styles. The term has been in use since the 1980s, although it came into prominence in the 1990s. A drummer is a percussionist who creates music using drums. Most contemporary western bands that play rock, pop, jazz, or R&B music include a drummer for purposes including timekeeping and embellishing the musical timbre.
