Steve Croudson
Steven David Croudson (born 24 November 1980) is an English football coach and former professional footballer who is goalkeeping coach of EFL League Two side Grimsby Town. He played as a goalkeeper initially from 1998 to 2007, but later came out of retirement between 2010 and 2013. He notably played for his hometown club Grimsby Town, returning to the club as goalkeeping coach following his retirement from playing due to injury at the age of 26 and would fill in as a back-up keeper during this tenure. During his playing career he also played with Scunthorpe United, Boston United, Stevenage Borough, Halifax Town, Kettering Town, Bangor City, Rhyl and Cammell Laird. Since becoming a coach he has also worked for Hull City and Lincoln City. Grimsby or Great Grimsby is a port town in Lincolnshire, England with a population of 86,138 (as of 2021). It is located near the mouth on the south bank of the Humber that flows to the North Sea. Andy Love (English Footballer)
Andrew Love (born 28 March 1979) is an English former professional footballer who played in the Football League as a goalkeeper for Grimsby Town. Career Grimsby Town Love was born in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, and began his football career as a trainee at hometown club Grimsby Town in 1995. Initially third-choice goalkeeper behind Paul Crichton and Jason Pearcey, he made his debut in Grimsby's 2–1 league defeat against Birmingham City on 1 March 1997. Crichton left Grimsby for West Bromwich Albion in 1997, but Love dropped down the pecking order again on the arrival of Aidan Davison. He joined Southern League club Ilkeston Town on loan during the 1998–99 season, and on his return had a brief run in Grimsby's first team. Glanford Park, currently known as The Attis Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a association football, football stadium in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, England, and is the home of team Scunthorpe United F.C., Scunthorpe United. Brian Laws
Brian Laws (born 14 October 1961) is an English former professional footballer and manager. Playing as a defender, Laws made over 100 appearances for each of Burnley, Middlesbrough, and Nottingham Forest. In 1994, Laws became player-manager of Grimsby Town before taking a similar position with Scunthorpe United in 1997. For the next nine years, Laws served as manager of Scunthorpe United, guiding them to promotion twice. In 2006, he accepted the managerial role at Sheffield Wednesday, lasting three years in the job during which time Burnley approached him for their managers job when Steve Cotterill left, but were put off by the compensation demanded by Wednesday. Morten Lauridsen Hyldgaard (born 26 January 1978) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as goalkeeper. He played for a number of clubs in English football. He played four games for the Denmark national under-21 football team. Career He started his career with Ikast FS. He played for a while in England, signing with Coventry City in 1999, but he found first team chances rare and spent time on loan with Scunthorpe United and later Grimsby Town. He then had a spell in Scotland with Hibernian before returning to England with Luton Town. Robin Michael Lawrence, commonly known as Lennie Lawrence, (born 12 December 1947) is an English football manager. He is assistant manager and non-executive director at National League side Hartlepool United. Lawrence was a semi-professional at Croydon, Carshalton Athletic and Sutton United before becoming caretaker manager of Plymouth Argyle in 1978. Blundell Park
Blundell Park is a football ground in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, England and home to Grimsby Town Football Club. The stadium was built in 1899, but only one of the original stands remains. The current capacity of the ground is 9,052, after being made all-seater in summer 1995, reducing the number from around 27,000. Several relegations in previous years meant the expansion seating was also taken away; that reduced the capacity further from around 12,000 to what it is now. The stadium is Grimsby Town's fourth ground, having previously played at Clee Park, Lovett Street and Abbey Park in the club's first twenty years of existence. Danny Coyne
Daniel Coyne (born 27 August 1973) is a Welsh football coach and former professional player. As a player, he was a goalkeeper who played between 1992 and 2018. He came through the youth ranks at Tranmere Rovers during the 1992–93 season. Coyne eventually went on to become the club's first choice keeper and went on to make 111 appearances in the league before signing for Grimsby Town in the summer of 1999. He spent four seasons at Blundell Park, two of which saw him named "Supporters' Player of the Season" and thus becoming an integral part of every Grimsby team he played in.
