Stephen Oduro
Stephen Oduro (born 13 April 1983) is a professional footballer, who plays as a midfielder for Asante Kotoko. Career Oduro nicknamed "Yaw Zico or Tico Tico" because of his height, began his career with Real Tamale United and was transferred in 2000 to Asante Kotoko. He has been an instrumental part to porcupine warriors since his arrival from the north giants. Asante Kotoko fans also call him the darling boy. Oduro is also one of Ghana-based freekick expert and he scored a brilliant one against rivals Hearts of Oak in a 2–0 win at the Kumasi Sports Stadium. Tamale ( Dagbani : ), officially called Tamale Metropolitan Area is the capital city of the Northern Region of Ghana. The 1999 FIFA U-16 World Championship, the eighth edition of the tournament, was held in the cities of Auckland, Christchurch, Napier, and Dunedin in New Zealand between 10 and 27 November 1999. The Ghana national U-17 football team, known as the Black Starlets, is the youngest team that represents Ghana in football. Kumasi Sports Stadium
Baba Yara Sports Stadium (also Kumasi Sports Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Kumasi, Ashanti. It is Ghana's largest stadium, with a seating capacity of 40,528. The Kumasi Stadium is used mostly for football matches, although it is also used for athletics. It is the home of one of Africa's most popular sports clubs, Asante Kotoko as well as King Faisal. History The stadium was originally built by the United African Company (UAC) in 1957 and inaugurated as a designated football pitch in 1959. The first stands were constructed in 1971.
