Stephen Guidry (American Football)
Stephen Gerard Guidry Jr. (born March 25, 1997) is an American football wide receiver who is a free agent. He played college football at Mississippi State University. Early years Guidry attended Pointe Coupee Central High School. As a junior, he tallied 37 receptions for 1,064 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also lettered in basketball and track for three years. As a senior, he transferred to Livonia High School. He posted 36 receptions for 854 yards and 13 touchdowns. He was named the Most Valuable Player of the 13th Annual Red Stick Bowl, after collecting 130 receiving yards and four touchdown receptions. He contributed to the school winning its first state championship, by making a 4-yard touchdown catch in a 43-14 victory over Amite High Magnet School, to capture the 2014 LHSAA Class 3A Championship. 2018 Texas A&M Aggies Football Team
The 2018 Texas A&M Aggies football team represents Texas A&M University in the 2018 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Aggies play their home games at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas and compete in the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They were led by first-year head coach Jimbo Fisher. Previous season The Aggies finished the 2017 season 7–6, 4–4 in SEC play, to finish in a tie for fourth place in the Western Division. ''The Clarion Ledger'' is an American daily newspaper in Jackson, Mississippi. It is the second-oldest company in the state of Mississippi, and is one of the few newspapers in the nation that continues to circulate statewide. It is an operating division of Gannett River States Publishing Corporation, owned by Gannett. History The paper traces its roots to ''The Eastern Clarion,'' founded in Jasper County, Mississippi, in 1837. Later that year, it was sold and moved to Meridian, Mississippi. After the American Civil War, it was moved to Jackson, the capital, and merged with ''The Standard''. It soon became known as ''The Clarion''. 2023 XFL Draft
The 2023 XFL Draft, is the player selection process to fill the rosters of the eight teams of the 2020 reboot of the XFL, and the second draft in that league's history following the 2020 draft. The draft was held on November 15–17, 2022, with results released through the XFL's social media channels. Structure The XFL 2023 draft pool consists of 1,700 players that are eligible. Of those, 528 players will advance to the preseason rosters. It will follow a "snake" format, with each position phase following a random order set prior to the draft, and that order reversing between odd and even rounds of the phase. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). The National Basketball Association (NBA) does not have a direct analog to an injured reserve list, instead using a more general-purpose "inactive list" that does not require a player to be injured. Injured reserve lists are used because the rules of these leagues allow for only a certain numbers of players on each team's roster. Professional career Baltimore Ravens Canady was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round, 209th overall, in the 2016 NFL Draft. 2020 NFL Draft
The 2020 NFL Draft was the 85th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2020 NFL season. The first round was held on April 23, followed by the second and third rounds on April 24. The draft concluded with rounds 4–7 on April 25.
