Stephen George is an Indian politician. Kerala Congress (Mani) or KEC(M) is a state-level political party in the Indian state of Kerala, currently led by chairman Jose K. Mani. It was formed by K. M. Mani in 1979, after a split from the Kerala Congress. They are part of the LDF since October 2020. History Kerala Congress (M) was formed in 1979 after a split in Kerala Congress party. After a series of splits and mergers, Kerala Congress faction of P. J. Joseph merged with Kerala Congress(M). It split again when some leaders including Francis George, Dr. K. C. Jose Karingozhackal Mani (born 29 May 1965) is an Indian politician and MP (Rajya Sabha) and former MP (Lok Sabha) from Kerala. He is the son of veteran politician K. M. Mani and the Chairman of Kerala Congress (M). Political Life He unsuccessfully contested in the parliament election in 2004 from Muvattupuzha constituency, losing to P. C. Thomas. In 2007, he was elected as the General Secretary of Kerala Congress (Mani) party. He won the 2009 Lok Sabha election from the Kottayam constituency, by a margin of more than 70,000 votes over K. Kaduthuruthy is a town in Kottayam District in the state of Kerala, India. The State Highway 15 connecting Ettumanoor to Vytila passes through the town.The town is located 27 km from Kottayam the district collectorate.
