Stephen Clements
Stephen Clements (17 December 1972 – 6 January 2020) was a Northern Irish radio DJ and TV presenter. He was best known for hosting the Q Breakfast Show on Q Radio for seven years until June 2019, and The Stephen Clements Show on BBC Radio Ulster from September 2019 until his death. Personal life Clements was born in Larne in on 17 December 1972 and was the son of Roy and Helen Clements and also had a brother, Gavin. He later married Natasha Beattie and had two children, Poppy and Robbie. He also had two cousins, Simon and Wendy Davis. Clements studied geography at university and lived in South Korea for a period teaching English. Prior to his radio career, Clements was a salesman. Clements died as a result of suicide at his Carrickfergus home on 6 January 2020. Carrickfergus
Carrickfergus ( , meaning " Fergus' rock") is a large town in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It sits on the north shore of Belfast Lough, from Belfast. The town had a population of 27,998 at the 2011 Census. It is County Antrim's oldest town and one of the oldest towns in Ireland as a whole. Carrickfergus Castle, built in the late 12th century at the behest of Anglo-Norman knight John de Courcy, was the capital of the Earldom of Ulster. After the earldom's collapse, it remained the only English outpost in Ulster for the next four centuries. Carrickfergus was the administrative centre for Carrickfergus Borough Council, before this was amalgamated into the Mid and East Antrim District Council in 2015, and forms part of the Belfast Metropolitan Area. Q Radio is a network of radio stations in Northern Ireland airing an adult contemporary format. The network is the fifth most listened to radio station in Northern Ireland, with a combined figure of over 241,000 listeners as of September 2022, according to RAJAR. Stephen Nolan
Stephen Raymond Nolan (born 20 August 1973) is a Northern Irish radio and television presenter for BBC Northern Ireland and BBC Radio 5 ''Live'', and is the highest earning broadcaster that the BBC employ in the Province. Early life Born in the Shankill Road area of Belfast, Nolan was educated at the Royal Belfast Academical Institution and the Queen's University of Belfast, where he studied French and Business Studies, graduating with a BA in 1995. Career Radio In 2002, Nolan joined Belfast CityBeat, where he won a Sony Radio Academy Award. ''Through the Keyhole'' is a British comedy panel game show created by the TV producer Kevin Sim and originally presented by Sir David Frost in the studio and Loyd Grossman on location.
