Stephanie Lynn Mabry (born October 23, 1979) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. She was known as Stephanie Halsell during her junior career, but changed her surname to Mabry around the time she turned professional. Biography Born in Houston, Mabry won several major junior tournaments, including the Les Petit As and Orange Bowl. When Mabry won the 18s Easter Bowl in 1994, at the age of 14, she became the youngest player in history to claim the title. Mabry made her WTA Tour main draw debut as a 15-year old at the 1995 Lipton Championships and took Ã…sa Carlsson (Svensson) to a third set tiebreak in a first round loss. Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Les Petits As (English: ''Little champions'') is a junior tennis tournament for players aged 12–14, held in Tarbes, France. The event has seen a number of its champions go on to become slam winners, including Rafael Nadal, Michael Chang, Martina Hingis, Kim Clijsters, and Jeļena Ostapenko . Due to the relatively restrictive age range, few players have won the title more than once, although Hingis and Timea Bacsinszky have both done so. The Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships, known as the Dunlop Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships from 2008 to 2013 with Dunlop as the title sponsor, and renamed the Metropolia Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships from 2013 onwards, is a prestigious junior tennis tournament, one of five that are rated by the ITF as 'Grade A'.
