Stephane and 3G ( ka, სტეფანე და 3G) are a Georgian pop group consisting of members: Stephane Mgebrishvili, Nini Badurashvili, Tamara Gachechiladze and Kristine Imedadze. Eurovision and withdrawal On 1 March 2008, Stephane and 3G participated in the Georgian national final to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade, Serbia. The band came 4th with the song ''I'm Free'' losing out to eventual winner Diana Gurtskaya. Nini Badurashvili ( ka, ნინი ბადურაშვილი; born 27 December 1985 in Tbilisi Tbilisi ( ; ka, თბილისი, ), in some languages still known by its pre-1936 name Tiflis ( ), ( ka, ტფილისი, tr ) is the Capital city, capital and List of cities and towns in Georgia (country), largest city of Georgia ( ...) is a Georgian singer and actress. Biography Badurashvili was born in the family of director Erekle Badurashvili and Georgian singer and actress Eka Kakhiani. She was a Basti-Bubu soloist from the age of six. She shot the first music video as a child on the song "Nana Chemo Baia" by Dato Evgenidze. She was also a member of the group Stephane and 3G. She has played in several films, most notable one was "The Conflict Zone", where she played Nini's role. Tamara "Tako" Milanova (; ka, თამარა "თაქო" მილანოვა, ; born 17 March 1983) is a Georgian singer, songwriter and actress. She represented Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, with the song " Keep the Faith". Career She took part in the national final for Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, with the song "Me and My Funky", coming in tenth place. As a member of the quartet Stephane & 3G, she also placed fourth in the same national final with the song "I'm Free", and was going to represent Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song " We Don't Wanna Put In", until the group's entry was disqualified for political content. She intended to enter Georgian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011, but ultimately withdrew due to health problems. The Eurovision Song Contest 2008 was the 53rd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Belgrade, Serbia, following the country's victory at the with the song "" by Marija Šerifović. Diana Gudaevna Gurtskaya ( ka, დიანა ღურწკაია, , born 2 July 1978) is a Russian pop singer well known in the countries of the former Soviet Union. Early life Diana Gurtskaya was born July 2, 1978, in Abkhazia (ex- Soviet Georgia). She has been affected by visual impairment from the day she was born. Following the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the ensuing conflict in Abkhazia in the early 1990s, her family was forced to live in a refugee camp, which eventually led them to migrate to Russia.
