Jed Outhwaite Jed Outhwaite is the father of Heather Hutchinson ( Siobhan Finneran) and the grandfather of Lyn Hutchinson ( Sally Walsh) and Kirsty Hutchinson (Anne Marie-Jowett). He and his daughter were brought back in contact by Lyn after no contact for 18 years. Jed was a farmer and his farm was owned by the Tate Family.
