Jim Steinmeyer
Jim Steinmeyer (born November 1, 1958) is an American author, inventor, and designer of magical illusions and theatrical special effects. He holds four US patents in the field of illusion apparatus, including a modern version of the Pepper's Ghost illusion. Steinmeyer has consulted for many famous magicians, including David Copperfield, Doug Henning, Siegfried and Roy, and Lance Burton. Steinmeyer is also known for his work on Broadway, and received two Drama Desk nominations for his effects in ''Merlin'' and ''Into the Woods''. He has also designed illusions for Disney's stage productions of ''Aladdin'', ''Beauty and the Beast'', and ''Mary Poppins''. Elias Von Steinmeyer
Elias von Steinmeyer (8 February 1848, in Nowawes, near Potsdam – 8 March 1922, in Erlangen) was a German philologist. He studied philology at the University of Berlin, and from 1870 worked as an assistant in the private state archives in Berlin. In 1873 he was named an associate professor at the University of Strasbourg, and in 1877 became a full professor of German philology at the University of Erlangen. From 1874 to 1890 he was the editor of the '' Zeitschrift für deutsches Altertum''. He is best known for ''Die kleineren althochdeutschen Sprachdenkmaler'' (1916) and the '' Althochdeutsche Glossen'' (five volumes, 1879-1922, with Eduard Sievers). His correspondence with Robert Priebsch was edited and published by Priebsch's son-in-law August Closs. He was the author of numerous biographies in the ''Allgemeine Deutsche Biographie''. Ferdinand Steinmeyer
Ferdinand Steinmeyer (13 October 1720 – 17 August 1786), also known as Ferdinand Farmer, was a German Jesuit missionary who worked in North America. Biography He was born in Swabia, southern Germany and studied medicine for three years before entering the Society of Jesus at Landsberg in September 1743. He desired to labor on the missions in China but was sent to America instead, arriving in 1752. His first mission was at Lancaster, Pennsylvania. where he remained until 1758. Frank-Walter Steinmeier (; born 5 January 1956) is a German politician who has served as President of Germany since 2017. He was previously Minister for Foreign Affairs (Germany), federal minister for foreign affairs from 2005 to 2009 and again from 2013 to 2017, as well as Vice Chancellor of Germany, vice chancellor of Germany from 2007 to 2009. Steinmeier was chairman-in-office of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in 2016. Steinmeier is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), holds a doctorate in law and was formerly a career civil servant.
