Steinbrenner Racing is an American automotive racing team that competes in the IndyCar Series. The team is owned by George Michael Steinbrenner IV and Julia Steinbrenner. George and Julia are the children of the late co-owner and co-chairman of the New York Yankees, Hank Steinbrenner and grandchildren of George Steinbrenner III. The team currently fields the No. 29 Dallara Honda for Devlin DeFrancesco in conjunction with Andretti Autosport. The USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, formerly known as the Star Mazda Championship, Pro Mazda Championship, and later Indy Pro 2000 Championship, is an Open-wheel car, open-wheel racing series serving as the third step on the Road to Indy ladder system, between the USF2000 Championship and Indy NXT. Indy NXT (pronounced "Indy Next"), previously Indy Lights, is an American Minor league, developmental automobile racing series sanctioned by IndyCar, currently known as INDY NXT by Firestone for sponsorship reasons. Indy NXT is the highest step on the Road to Indy, a program of racing series leading up to the IndyCar Series. James Hinchcliffe
James Douglas Meredith Hinchcliffe (born December 5, 1986) is a Canadian race car driver currently competing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship driving the No. 9 Lamborghini for Pfaff Motorsports. He is also a commentator for Fox Sports, FOX Sports and is best known for competing in the IndyCar Series. Hinchcliffe won six races for Andretti Autosport and Arrow McLaren SP, Schmidt Peterson Motorsports. The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio is an IndyCar Series race held at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. Professional open wheel races at the facility date back to 1970.
