Steinar Stokke
Steinar Stokke (born 8 October 1955) is a Norwegian businessperson and former civil servant, with prominent positions in the health sector. By education, he is a political scientist from the University of Oslo. In the 1980s and 1990s he pursued a career in the civil service. In 1988 he was acting subdirector, and was promoted to subdirector, in the Ministry of Finance. He later became acting head of department before being promoted to director in 1992. Another promotion to deputy under-secretary of state in the Ministry of Social Affairs followed in 1993, before he reached the highest-ranking position in the civil service, permanent under-secretary of state, in 1996. In 1999 he left the civil service to become chief executive of the pharmaceutical wholesaler Apokjeden. Ole Johan Sandvand
Ole Johan Sandvand (born 23 February 1947) is a Norwegian health executive. He was born in Søndeled, finished his secondary education in Risør in 1966, and graduated from the University of Oslo in 1975 with the cand.polit. degree in political science. He was hired as a consultant in NAVF in 1973, and was promoted to head of department in NAVF's Council for Medical Research. He remained here until 1991, except for the year 1983 to 1984 when he was a research fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. In 1991, he also took a Master of Health Administration degree at the University of Oslo. In 1991 he was hired as managing director of Modum Bad Psychiatric Center. Sandvand chaired the Nordic Institute for Studies in Innovation, Research and Education from 1995. Locally he has been a board member of the sports club Vikersund IF. Asker ( no, Asker), properly called Askerbygda in Norwegian, is a district and former municipality in Akershus, Norway. From 2020 it is part of the larger administrative municipality Asker, Viken (also known as Greater Asker) in Viken county, together with the traditional Buskerud districts Røyken and Hurum; Asker proper constitutes the northern fourth and is part of the Greater Oslo Region. Ullern Secondary School
Ullern is a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway. History The borough has its name from an old farm, Norse ''Ullarin''. The first element is the genitive case of the name of the Norse god Ullr. The last element is ''vin'', meaning pasture or meadow. In Medieval times, the farm belonged to the monastery at Hovedøya. Following the Reformation in 1536, the farmland was separated between the crown and the local canon. Formally divided into lower and upper Ullern in 1740, both farms were bought by Herman Severin Løvenskiold, in 1878 and 1866 respectively. At the time, Ullern was a part of the rural municipality Aker. Cancer is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body. These contrast with benign tumors, which do not spread. Possible signs and symptoms include a lump, abnormal bleeding, prolonged cough, unexplained weight loss, and a change in bowel movements. Ansgar Gabrielsen (born 21 May 1955 in Mandal) is a Norwegian consultant and former politician for the Conservative Party. Early life and local politics He was born in Mandal as a son of Terje Gabrielsen and Astrid Olsen. He is an insurance agent by education and worked in this profession before entering politics. Bjørn Kristoffer Erikstein (born 1952) is a Norwegian physician and civil servant, with prominent positions in the health sector. He took his cand.med. and dr.med. degrees at the University of Oslo. From 1993, he was a specialist in oncology. He worked as a physician at Radiumhospitalet and Ullevål Hospital. He entered hospital administration as vice chief executive of the Southern Norway Regional Health Authority in 2003. In December 2004 he took over as chief executive. From 2003 he was also chair of Buskerud Hospital and Radiumhospitalet, later Rikshospitalet-Radiumhospitalet after a merger. Erling Valvik (born 1953) is a Norwegian civil servant. He hails from Bergen, and after studies in economics, law and public administration at the University of Bergen he graduated with the cand. polit. degree. After some years as a Norad official in Namibia and civil servant in Tromsø he was hired as a financial consultant in Kristiansand municipality in 1982. In 1990 he advanced to chief administrative officer, a position he held until 2002. In 2000, Kristiansand municipality sold stocks in the power company Agder Energi, and of the sales fee were funneled to a new cultural foundation, Cultiva.
