Steffen Görmer (born 28 July 1968) is a retired German sprinter who specialized in the 100 metres. He represented the sports club SV Halle. He finished fifth at the 1989 IAAF World Cup and eighth at the 1990 European Championships. At the 1993 World Championships he finished sixth in the 4 × 100 metres relay, together with teammates Marc Blume, Robert Kurnicki and Michael Huke. Harald Czudaj
Harald Czudaj (born 14 February 1963) is a German former bobsledder who competed during the 1990s. He competed in three Winter Olympics and won a gold medal in the four-man event at Lillehammer in 1994. Czudaj also won four medals at the FIBT World Championships with two silvers (Two-man and four-man: both 1990 for East Germany) and two bronzes (Four-man: 1991, 1995, both for Germany). He also won the 1997-98 Bobsleigh World Cup championship in the four-man event. Bobsleigh or bobsled is a winter sport in which teams of 2 to 4 athletes make timed speed runs down narrow, twisting, banked, iced tracks in a gravity-powered sleigh. International bobsleigh competitions are governed by the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (formerly the FIBT). The first bobsleds were built in the late 19th century in St. Moritz, Switzerland, by wealthy tourists from Victorian Britain who were staying at the Palace Hotel owned by Caspar Badrutt. The early sleds were adapted from boys' delivery sleds and toboggans. These eventually evolved into bobsleighs, luges and skeletons.
