Stefano Mazzini (born 6 December 1998) is an Italian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Carrarese. Club career Atalanta Born in Crema, Mazzini was a youth exponent of Atalanta. On 13 August 2016, he was called up to the senior squad's official game for the first time, in the third round of Coppa Italia against Cremonese and eight days later, on 21 August, for the first time in a Serie A match, against Lazio, but remained on the bench. Loan to Gavorrano and Pordenone On 13 July 2017, Mazzini was loaned to Serie C side Gavorrano on a season-long loan deal. Three months later, on 7 October, he made his professional debut in Serie C for Gavorrano in a 4–1 home defeat against Arzachena. Crema, Lombardy
Crema (; Cremasco: ) is a city and ''comune'' in the province of Cremona, in the region of Lombardy in northern Italy. It is built along the river Serio at from Cremona. It is also the seat of the Catholic Bishop of Crema, who gave the title of city to Crema. The Biblioteca Ambrosiana is a historic library in Milan, Italy, also housing the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, the Ambrosian art gallery. The 2019–20 Serie C was the sixth season of the unified Serie C division, the third tier of the Italian football league system. The season was scheduled to run from 24 August 2019 to 26 April 2020, however, on 9 March 2020, the Italian government halted the league until 3 April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy. Serie C did not resume play on this date. On 18 May, it was announced that Italian football would be suspended until 14 June. The 2018–19 Serie C was the fifth season of the unified Serie C division, the third tier of the Italian football league system. Teams The league originally featured 60 teams. However, it saw the bankruptcy and subsequent withdrawal of Andria, Mestre, Reggiana and Vicenza. To fill the vacancies in Serie B, Novara, Catania and Siena became the repechage candidates from Serie C, to the objection of Pro Vercelli and Ternana. However, on 10 August Lega B announced that a 19-team calendar would be commissioned for the 2018–19 and no repechage would take place. The 2017–18 Serie C was the fourth season of the unified Serie C (formerly Lega Pro) division, the third tier of the Italian football league system.
