Stefan Getsov ( bg, Стефан Гецов; 27 December 1929 – 8 August 2020), nicknamed Tseko ( bg, Цеко), was a Bulgarian Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football), forward and made one appearance for the Bulgaria national football team, Bulgaria national team. Career Getsov earned his first and only Cap (sport), cap for Bulgaria national football team, Bulgaria on 30 October 1950 in a Exhibition game, friendly match against Poland national football team, Poland, which finished as a 0–1 loss in Sofia. Ruse, Bulgaria
Ruse (also transliterated as Rousse, Russe; bg, Русе ) is the fifth largest city in Bulgaria. Ruse is in the northeastern part of the country, on the right bank of the Danube, opposite the Romanian city of Giurgiu, approximately south of Bucharest, Romania's capital, from the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast and from the capital Sofia. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. An early illustration of the first international football match between Scotland and England in 1872 shows the Scottish players wearing cowls, and the English wearing a variety of school caps.
