Stefan Chaput
Stefan Chaput (born March 11, 1988) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre who played in the American Hockey League (AHL). Playing career Chaput played his junior hockey in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for the Lewiston Maineiacs. Drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes 153rd overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft he was signed to an entry level contract with the Hurricanes on April 16, 2008. After starting the 2010–11 season with Carolina's AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers, on November 23, 2010, Chaput was traded from the Hurricanes to the Anaheim Ducks, along with Matt Kennedy, in exchange for Ryan Carter. He was then immediately assigned to remain in the AHL with the Syracuse Crunch. Centre (ice Hockey)
The centre (or center in the United States) in ice hockey is a forward position of a player whose primary zone of play is the middle of the ice, away from the sideboards. Centres have more flexibility in their positioning and therefore often end up covering more ice surface than any other player. Centres are ideally strong, fast skaters who are able to back-check quickly from deep in the opposing zone. Generally, centres are expected to be gifted passers more so than goal scorers, although there are exceptions - typically larger centres who position themselves directly in front of the net in order to score off rebounds. Quebec Major Junior Hockey League
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (french: Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec; abbreviated ''QMJHL'' in English, ''LHJMQ'' in French) is one of the three major junior ice hockey leagues that constitute the Canadian Hockey League. The league includes teams in the provinces of Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. The current president of the QMJHL is Gilles Courteau. Cornwall River Kings
The Cornwall River Kings were a professional ice hockey team based in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada and members of the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey (LNAH). They played their home games at Ed Lumley Arena at the Cornwall Civic Complex. The team was also formerly known as the Windsor Wild of Windsor, Quebec before moving to Cornwall in 2012. Sean Zimmerman (born May 24, 1987) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. He most recently played for the Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL), Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL. Born in Denver, Colorado Zimmerman represented the United States at the 2007 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships helping United States men's national junior ice hockey team, Team USA win a Bronze medal. Brian McGrattan
Brian McGrattan (born September 2, 1981) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and current member of the Calgary Flames player development staff. McGrattan was a fourth-round selection of the Los Angeles Kings (104th overall) at the 1999 NHL Entry Draft but never signed with the team. He signed with the Ottawa Senators organization in 2002 and made his NHL debut with the team three years later. McGrattan has also played in the NHL with the Phoenix Coyotes, Nashville Predators and Calgary Flames. Ryan Michael Carter (born August 3, 1983) is an American former professional ice hockey forward. He played nearly 500 games in the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career Early career From 2001–04 Ryan Carter played for the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL. From 2004–06 Carter played for Minnesota State University, Mankato.
