Steady Ground
Steady Ground was an American alternative rock group best known for having former The Offspring drummer Ron Welty in its lineup. On February 26, 2006, Steady Ground released three demos on Myspace, entitled "Everyone's Emotional", "I Can't Contain Myself", and "You Better Close Your Eyes." In 2007, the band released the studio album ''Jettison'', and in the same year they broke up. Rate Your Music (often abbreviated to RYM) is an online collaborative database of music releases and films. Users can catalog items from their personal collection, review them, and assign ratings in a five-star rating system. The site also features community-based charts that track highest-rated releases. History Rate Your Music was founded on December 24, 2000, by Seattle resident Hossein Sharifi, who is still active on the site under the username "sharifi". The first version of the site, "RYM 1.0," allowed users to rate and catalog releases, as well as to write reviews, create lists and add artists and releases to the database. The Offspring
The Offspring is an American rock band from Garden Grove, California, formed in 1984. Originally formed under the name Manic Subsidal, the band's current lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Bryan "Dexter" Holland, lead guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman and bassist Todd Morse. Over the course of their -year career, The Offspring have released 10 studio albums and have also experienced a number of lineup changes, most notably with their drummer. Their longest-serving drummer was Ron Welty, who replaced original drummer James Lilja in 1987 and stayed with The Offspring for 16 years. Adler's Appetite, previously Suki Jones, is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2003. The band's current lineup consists of namesake and drummer Steven Adler, vocalist Ari Kamin, guitarists Michael Thomas and Alistair James, and bassist Todd Kerns. Along with original material, the band performs covers of Adler's former band Guns N' Roses, primarily songs from the album ''Appetite for Destruction''. Ron Welty
Ronald Welty (born February 1, 1971) is an American musician and the former drummer for the American punk rock band The Offspring. After The Offspring, Welty formed Steady Ground. Career The Offspring In July 1987, 16-year-old Welty joined The Offspring, replacing James Lilja. Welty performed on The Offspring's first six studio albums: ''The Offspring'', ''Ignition'', ''Smash'', '' Ixnay on the Hombre'', ''Americana'', and '' Conspiracy of One''. He was fired from the band in 2003 when they were in the midst of writing and recording ''Splinter''. Of all the band's drummers, Welty's tenure of almost 16 years remains the longest. Rick Stitch
Rick Stitch is a Canadian singer-songwriter best known as the singer for Ladyjack Hotel Diablo and Adler's Appetite. He has also played with First Born Unicorn, The Other Side of Morning and Steady Ground. Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke was enlisted to produce Ladyjack's debut album. Early music career (1996–2007) Rick Stitch started his musical career during the mid Nineties as a drummer with longtime high school friends Mark Pellizzer on guitar and Gary Rugala on bass.
