Zog I Of Albania
Zog I (born Ahmed Muhtar Zogolli; 8 October 18959 April 1961) was the leader of Albania from 1922 to 1939. At age 27, he first served as Albania's youngest ever Prime Minister (1922–1924), then as president (1925–1928), and finally as King (1928–1939). Born to an aristocratic beylik family in Ottoman Albania, Zogolli was active in Albanian politics from a young age and fought on the side of Austria-Hungary during the First World War. In 1922, he adopted the name Ahmed Zogu. He held various ministerial posts in the Albanian government before being driven into exile in June 1924, but returned later in the year with Yugoslav and White Russian military support and was subsequently elected prime minister. Mufid Libohova
Mufid Bey Libohova (1876 in Libohovë – 1927 in Sarandë) was an Albanian economist, diplomat and politician and one of the delegates at the Assembly of Vlorë (28 November 1912) where the Albanian Declaration of Independence took place. He served as the first Minister of Interior of Albania, during the Provisional Government of Albania. He held different government positions on nine occasions between 1913–1927, holding the positions of Justice Minister, Minister of the Interior, Minister of Finances, and Minister of Culture. Life Mufid Libohova, son of Ali Naki Bey (1842-1904), and the grandson of Maliq Naili Pasha Bey (1810-1892), two Albanian notables from Libohova. Petro Poga (1860–1944) was an Albanian politician who served as a delegate at the Albanian Declaration of Independence event in Vlorë, 1912, and an important Rilindas. Biography Early life He could've been born in Erind, Gjirokastër, Albania (then Ottoman Empire), son of Vito Poga, a local who had previously worked in his region and in Istanbul as a tailor. Poga might have gone to the Zosimea Greek language School of Ioannina, Greece (then Ottoman Empire) and then graduated in Jurisprudence from the Istanbul University. In Istanbul he may have been an active part of the Central Committee for Defending Albanian Rights, and the Society for the Publication of Albanian Writings.
