Station Code
A station code is a brief, standardised abbreviation, or alphanumeric code, used by railways to identify a train station, railway station uniquely (within a country or region). Codes are mostly used internally but can be seen on railway traffic signs and on some timetables. In most countries, station codes are purely alphabetic, usually compromising a few capital letters for ease of identification, in some countries one capital and one or some lowercase letters. Americas United States Amtrak encodes a few stations in Canada which it serves. Asia Hong Kong A three-letter code system is in use in the MTR to identify stations. Mumbai Central Railway Station
Mumbai Central (formerly Bombay Central, station code: MMCT) is a major railway station on the Western line (Mumbai Suburban Railway), Western line, situated in Mumbai, Maharashtra in an area known by the same name. It serves as a major stop for both local and intercity trains with separate platforms between them. It is also a terminal for several long-distance trains including the Mumbai Rajdhani Express. NSB Class 73 () is a class of 22 electric multiple units built by Adtranz for the Norwegian State Railways. The four-car trains were modifications of Class 71, which was again based on the Swedish X2. The A-series consists of 16 intercity trains; they were delivered in 1999 and 2000 and are used on the Bergen, Dovre and Sørland Lines. The intercity service was branded as Signatur until 2003. The B-series consists of six regional trains delivered in 2002 and used on the Østfold Line. The regional trains were originally part of the Agenda concept. is a junction passenger railway station located in Takatsu-ku, Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Tokyu Corporation.
