The State Secretary (; Jawi script, Jawi: ستياءوسها كراجأن) was established to manage Brunei’s Domestic policy, internal administrative functions and support the (chief minister). Reserved for Bruneian Malays, Malay Muslims, the position became a key figure under the Constitution of Brunei, 1959 Constitution, overseeing departmental coordination, advising the Sultan of Brunei, and holding a seat in the Council of Cabinet Ministers, Council of Ministers. Sultan Of Brunei
The sultan of Brunei is the monarchical head of state of Brunei and head of government in his capacity as prime minister of Brunei. Since independence from the British in 1984, only one sultan has reigned, though the royal institution dates back to the 14th century. The sultan of Brunei can be thought of as synonymous with the ruling House of Bolkiah, with generations being traced from the first sultan, temporarily interrupted by the 13th sultan, Abdul Hakkul Mubin, who in turn was deposed by a member of the House of Bolkiah. Background Ibrahim was born in Labuan on Friday, 27 September 1902. His origin can be traced from the Malay Peninsula. His father was Tengku Mohammad Jaafar bin Tengku Mohammad Saat bin Tengku Merandeh. During his early years, he was educated informally from his father and he was known for his brightness. Manteri
The Manteri are a group of royal dignitaries within the Sultanate of Brunei whose position ranks the fourth-highest official in the country behind the Sultan. There are two main groups in the Manteri, namely the Manteri Berchiri and the Manteri Bertauliah. Each person who is given a position in the Manteri is also given a certain title.
