State Route 210 (SR 210) is a secondary state highway in West Tennessee. Route description SR 210 begins in Halls (within Lauderdale County) at an intersection with SR 88, which continues south beyond this intersection. SR 210 travels northerly out of Halls, travelling parallel to the Canadian National Railway toward the Dyer County line. Near the county line, the highway passes near the Arnold Field Airport (formerly Dyersburg Army Air Base) built during World War II. In Dyer County, this highway continues north through bottomland until reaches the small community of Fowlkes. In Fowlkes, SR 210 comes to a 4-way intersection, about 500 feet away from US 51/ SR 3 and continues east traversing farmland and rolling hills until terminating at US 412/ SR 20. Dyersburg Army Air Base
Dyersburg Army Air Base is an inactive United States Air Force base, approximately 2 miles north of Halls, Tennessee. It was active during World War II as a training airfield. It was closed on 30 November 1945 Dyersburg AAB was the largest combat aircrew training school built during the early war years. It was the only inland B-17 Flying Fortress training base east of the Mississippi River. The base was located on , not including the practice range. Approximately 7,700 crewmen received their last phase training at DAAB. 114 crew men lost their lives. State Route 20 (SR 20) is a long east–west primary state highway that begins in Dyersburg and ending near Summertown. SR 20 is unsigned and concurrent with U.S. Route 412 (US 412) for its entire length, except for a short section between Hohenwald and Summertown. Halls is a town in Lauderdale County, Tennessee. The population was 2,255 at the 2010 census. The town was founded in 1882 as a railroad station stop. It is named after Hansford R. Hall, one of the founders. Among the early business ventures were sawmills and cotton gins, founded in the 1880s to process local lumber and cotton. Halls is home to the Veterans' Museum on the grounds of the Dyersburg Army Air Base, which documents the history of the World War II Army Air Corps. State Route 88 (SR 88) is a west-east state highway in West Tennessee. The route traverses Lauderdale and Crockett Counties. Route description Lauderdale County SR 88 begins at a dead end overlooking the Mississippi River within Chickasaw National Wildlife Refuge. It intersects SR 181 at Hales Point.
