Vijayanagara district is a district in the southern Indian state of Karnataka, located in the Kalyana-Karnataka region. Hospet (officially Hosapete) is the largest and fastest-growing industrial city and district headquarters of the Vijayanagara district in the Indian state of Karnataka.
