Stassi D. Cramm
Stassi D. Cramm is the Prophet-President of Community of Christ as of the 2025 World Conference. She is the ninth person to fill the role, and her tenure marks the first time that a woman has headed the denomination. Cramm was born in June 1962; and was raised in Illinois,. She graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana with a BS in engineering, before getting MAs in organizational management and religion from the University of Phoenix and the Community of Christ Seminary at Graceland University respectively, and a PhD in organization and management from Capella University. In the Latter Day Saint movement, the president of the Church is generally considered to be the highest office of the church. It was the office held by Joseph Smith, founder of the movement, and the office assumed by many of Smith's claimed successors, such as Brigham Young, Joseph Smith III, Sidney Rigdon, and James Strang.
