StarHub TV
Star Hub TV is a pay television service provided by StarHub in Singapore. It has been a subsidiary of ''StarHub Limited'' since StarHub acquired ''Singapore Cable Vision'' (SCV) in 2001, and was the sole pay-TV operator in the country until 2007 when mio TV (now Singtel TV), an IPTV service from its competitor, Singtel, was launched. The company offers IPTV services via the optical fibre network. It also provides this service via a wireless network, the Digital Terrestrial Television system. StarHub Limited, commonly known as StarHub, is a Singaporean multinational telecommunications conglomerate and one of the major Telecommunications in Singapore, telcos operating in the country. Bukit Batok ( ), often abbreviated as Bt Batok, is a planning area and matured residential town located along the eastern boundary of the West Region of Singapore. Bukit Batok statistically ranks in as the 25th largest, the 10th most populous and the 9th most densely populated planning area in Singapore. Thai Sky TV () was a satellite television operator that existed in Thailand between 1991 and 1997, owned by Siam Broadcasting Company Limited, a unit of MCOT. History Siam Broadcasting Company was registered in June 1990. Thai Sky TV launched test signals on 26 August 1991. These became regular in September 1991. TSTV used MMDS to deliver its signals, similar to IBC, its competitor. Under this system, TSTV carried three channels. At the time, the installation fee for TSTV was higher than that of IBC: TSTV charged 1000 baht per subscription, IBC charged only 600.
