Star Life (formerly known as Fox Life) was a pay television network in Latin America, launched by the Fox Networks Group in 2005. The network's scheduling varied with each version, ranging from traditional entertainment programming, including television series, sitcoms and films. Star Life was operated by Disney Media Networks Latin America and The Walt Disney Company Latin America, both of which are owned by The Walt Disney Company. In high-definition television (HDTV) and video display technology, 1080i is a video display format with 1080 lines of vertical resolution and Interlaced video, interlaced scanning method. This format was once a standard in HDTV. It was particularly used for broadcast television because it can deliver high-resolution images without needing excessive bandwidth.
