Krzysztof Jakub Stanowski (born 21 July 1982) is a Polish journalist, columnist and businessman, co-owner of the Weszło group and Kanał Sportowy. Career He graduated from the Klementyna Hoffmanowa Liceum in Warsaw. He studied journalism, but did not complete his studies. He started his career as a journalist at the age of 14, when he was accepted for an internship in the editorial office of "Przegląd Sportowy". In 1997–2001 he wrote articles for the " Nasza Legia" magazine. In 2002 he was a correspondent for "Przegląd Sportowy" at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, and in 2005 he became the head of the football department of this newspaper. Then he collaborated with " Super Express", " Dziennik" and the editorial offices of "Futbol" and " Futbolnews". Wally Stanowski
Walter Peter Stanowski (April 28, 1919 – June 28, 2015) was a Canadians, Canadian ice hockey defenceman. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Stanowski started his National Hockey League career with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1939–40 NHL season, 1939. In 1941, he was a member of the NHL All-Star team. He won four Stanley Cups with the Maple Leafs. Stanowski was traded to the New York Rangers after the 1947-48 season. He retired after the 1950–51 NHL season, 1951 season. Stanowski was the last surviving member of Maple Leafs 1942 and 1945 Stanley Cup team. As of 2015, Stanowski lived in a retirement home near Toronto. He died on June 28, 2015. At the time of his death, Stanowski was the oldest surviving Maple Leaf. On October 14, 2016, Stanowski was named by the Maple Leafs as #66 of the one hundred greatest players in team history. Skip Stanowski
Walter "Skip" Stanowski is a retired Canadian ice hockey player. He helped Cornell win their first National Title in 1967, receiving the Tournament MOP and captaining the team the following season. Career Stanowski began his career at Cornell in 1964 on the freshman team before joining the varsity squad for the 1965–66 season. Stanowski was part of the defensive corps that cut the team's goals against by nearly a full goal per game from the season before (2.88 to 2.00) and brought the Big Red their best finish with a 22–5 record. In the postseason Cornell won their first playoff game and ended up as the ECAC runner-up. Ordinarily that would have allowed the Big Red to receive the second eastern bid into the NCAA tournament; however, due to an ongoing dispute between the Ivy League and the NCAA over player eligibility Cornell was not allowed to participate and their season was over.
