Dany Stanišić (born 5 August 1988) is a Serbian sailor. He competed at the 2011 World Championships in the Men's Laser class. He is a member of the AJK Beograd sailing club in Serbia. Sailing career Stanišić has been sailing since he was nine. He competed for Slovenia in the beginning of his career. He won a bronze medal at the 2005 Laser 4.7 World Championships for boys under age of 18. He became European Champion in this discipline at Izola in Slovenia in 2005. Jovan "Jovica" Stanišić ( sr-cyr, Јован "Јовица" Станишић; born 30 July 1950) is a Serbian former intelligence officer who served as the head of the State Security Directorate (RDB) within the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia from 1992 until 1998. Mićo Stanišić (born 30 June 1954) is a Bosnian Serb politician. Stanišić was born in the village of Ponor, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He graduated from the Sarajevo Law School. From 21 December 1991, Stanišić was Minister Without Portfolio of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina. From 1 April 1992, he was the Minister of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Internal Affairs. Saša Stanišić ( sr-cyr, Саша Станишић; born 7 March 1978) is a Bosnian-German writer. Biography He was born in Višegrad, Bosnia and Herzegovina as the son of a Bosniaks, Bosniak mother and a Serbs, Serb father. In the spring of 1992, he fled alongside his family to Germany as a refugee of the Bosnian War. Stanišić spent the remainder of his youth in Heidelberg, where his teachers encouraged his passion for writing. After graduating from high school, he enrolled in the Heidelberg University, University of Heidelberg, graduating with degrees in Slavic studies and German as a second language. In 2006, Stanišić released his debut novel, published in English as ''How the Soldier Repairs the Gramophone''. Vojislav "Scoop" Stanisic (; born March 6, 1963) is a retired soccer player who played as a goalkeeper. He was most recently the goalkeeping coach for Columbus Crew in Major League Soccer. He spent most of his career playing indoor soccer in the United States, but also played five outdoor seasons in the American Soccer League, American Professional Soccer League and USISL.
