West Stack () is a coastal rock outcrop which rises to 120 m on the west side of Hoseason Glacier, 14 nautical miles (26 km) southeast of Edward VIII Bay. Hoseason Glacier
Following is a list of glaciers of Kemp Land in Antarctica. This list may not reflect recently named glaciers in Kemp Land. Cosgrove Glacier . Small glacier entering the south part of Stefansson Bay just west of Mulebreen. Seen from an Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) aircraft in 1956 and later mapped. Named by Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) for M. Cosgrove, radio supervisor at Mawson Station, 1959. Hoseason Glacier . Glacier long, flowing north into the sea between West Stack and East Stack, east of Edward VIII Bay. Roughly mapped by Norwegian cartographers from aerial photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37. Enderby Land
Enderby Land is a projecting landmass of Antarctica. Its shore extends from Shinnan Glacier at about to William Scoresby Bay at , approximately of the earth's longitude. It was first documented in western and eastern literature in February 1831 by John Biscoe aboard the whaling brig ''Tula'', and named after the Enderby Brothers of London, the ship's owners who encouraged their captains to combine exploration with sealing. Nation state claims Subject to the constraints of the Antarctic Treaty System, the longest-held nation-state claimant rights in the territory is Australia, being a large part of its claimed Australian Antarctic Territory up to various high latitudes towards the South Pole. William Scoresby
William Scoresby (5 October 178921 March 1857) was an English whaler, Arctic explorer, scientist and clergyman. Early years Scoresby was born in the village of Cropton near Pickering south-west of Whitby in Yorkshire. His father, William Scoresby (1760–1829), made a fortune in the Arctic whale fishery and was also the inventor of the barrel crow's nest. The son made his first voyage with his father at the age of eleven, but then returned to school, where he remained until 1803. After this he became his father's constant companion, and accompanied him as chief officer of the whaler ''Resolution'' when on 25 May 1806, he succeeded in reaching 81°30' N. lat. (19° E. long), for twenty-one years the highest northern latitude attained in the eastern hemisphere. During the following winter, Scoresby attended the natural philosophy and chemistry classes at Edinburgh University, and again in 1809.
