Stacey Dixon
Stacey Angela Dixon (born January 9, 1971) is an American mechanical engineer and intelligence official and Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence in the Biden Administration since August 4, 2021. Education Dixon earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Stanford University in 1993, followed by a Master of Science in 1995 and a Doctor of Philosophy in 2000 in the same from Georgia Tech. Her doctoral thesis was entitled ''Biomechanical analysis of coronary arteries using a complementary energy model and designed experiments''. She completed a chemical engineering postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering. Career As an undergraduate, Dixon was an intern at Nokia Bell Labs. In parliamentary procedure, a voice vote (from the Latin ''viva voce'', meaning "live voice") or acclamation is a voting method in deliberative assemblies (such as legislatures) in which a group vote is taken on a topic or motion by responding vocally. The voice vote is considered the simplest and quickest of voting methods used by deliberative assemblies. The presiding officer or chair of the assembly will put the question to the assembly, asking first for all those in favor of the motion to indicate so orally ("aye" or "yea"), and then ask second all those opposed to the motion to indicate so verbally ("no" or "nay"). Coast Guard Academy
The United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) is a service academy of the United States Coast Guard in New London, Connecticut.
