St James Holdings
St James Holdings Limited was a company set up by tycoon Mike Ashley (businessman), Mike Ashley, specifically to acquire shares of Newcastle United Football Club during his 2007 takeover. The company name was a reference to St James' Park, the stadium of Newcastle United. Kevin Keegan
Joseph Kevin Keegan (born 14 February 1951) is an English former footballer and manager. A forward, he played for several professional clubs from 1968 to 1984. Having begun his career at Scunthorpe United, he moved to Liverpool in 1971 and then to Hamburger SV in 1977, enjoying great success at both clubs. During this period, he was a regular member of the England national team. He was twice the winner of the Ballon d'Or. After leaving Hamburg in 1980, he played for Southampton and Newcastle United. Keegan returned to football in 1992 as manager at Newcastle. He later managed Fulham and Manchester City. At all three clubs, the team won promotion as champions in his first full season there. Steve Hayward
Steve Hayward (born 8 September 1971) is an English former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder in a sixteen-year career spanning from 1988 to 2004. Career Born in Pelsall near Walsall, Hayward began his career with Derby County and made his League debut in 1990, but found first-team opportunities limited. He joined Carlisle United in 1994 and won two promotions from Division Three and the 1997 Football League Trophy Final during his time at the club before moving to Fulham in 1997. He played a role in Fulham's promotion and run to the 5th round of the FA Cup in 1999. Hayward was signed by Barnsley in January 2001. That season he had made one league appearance for Fulham up to that point, which ironically was against Barnsley. Fulham would go on to get promoted to the Premier League that season in his absence. Christopher Mort is an English lawyer and former chairman of Newcastle United Football Club. Biography Mort is a lawyer for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he is head of their sports and gaming practice. Mort worked for Mike Ashley on his takeover of Newcastle United, and took over as chairman of the club on 24 July 2007. Mort sacked manager Sam Allardyce and appointed Kevin Keegan as his successor in January 2008.
