ASC Brighton Rangers F.C is a football club based in Haywards Heath, England. They are currently members of the and play at the Colwell Ground. History The club was founded in 2002 from the amalgamation of St Francis FC and Ansty Rangers. The team were promoted from the third division of the Sussex County League in 2004 and were promoted again three years later. In the 2015–16 season, ''The Argus'' newspaper dubbed St Francis Rangers 'the worst football team in England' during a season where they only won once and were relegated (at the time the article was written, the team had lost all of the 23 games they had played up to that point) from the Premier Division of the Southern Combination Football League to Division One, where they remained until the club folded in December 2018. Haywards Heath ( ) is a town in West Sussex, England, south of London, north of Brighton, south of Gatwick Airport and northeast of the county town, Chichester. Whitehawk F
Whitehawk is a suburb in the east of Brighton, England, south of Bevendean and north of Brighton Marina. The area is a large, modern housing estate built in a downland dry valley historically known as Whitehawk Bottom. The estate was originally developed by the local council between 1933 and 1937 and included nearly 1,200 residences. Subsequently, the Swanborough flats were built in 1967, and in the 1970s and 1980s much of the estate was rebuilt by altering the road layouts and increasing the number of houses. 2019–20 Southern Combination Football League
The 2019–20 Southern Combination Football League season was the 95th in the history of the competition, which lies at levels 9 and 10 of the English football league system. The provisional club allocations for steps 5 and 6 were first announced by the FA on 19 May 2019. This season was also the first season the sin bin rule applied to this level of football. League suspension and season abandonment On 16 March 2020, both the Football Association and the Sussex County Football Association announced that all football competitions for Non-League football would be put on hold until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic.
