The Selkirk Fishermen are a junior "B" ice hockey team based in Selkirk, Manitoba. They are members of the Capital Region Junior Hockey League (CRJHL). The franchise was founded in 1917. They are the longest running junior hockey team in Canada. The Peguis Juniors are a junior "B" ice hockey team based in Peguis, Manitoba. They are members of the Keystone Junior Hockey League (KJHL). The franchise was founded in 1994. History In 2006, Fisher River Cree Nation partnered with Peguis for three seasons. The team was renamed Two Nations River Hawks. The Juniors played in the Peguis Arena, but on the early morning of February 19, 2007, the arena was lost to fire. The OCN Storm (short for Opaskwayak Cree Nation Storm) are a Canadian junior B ice hockey team based in Opaskwayak Cree Nation, Manitoba. They are members of the Keystone Junior Hockey League and play out of the Gordon Lathlin Memorial Centre. History OCN Storm were founded in 2012. They are the second junior hockey franchise to play in OCN, the first being the OCN Blizzard of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. The Prairie Junior Hockey League is a Junior "B" ice hockey league in Saskatchewan, Canada, sanctioned by Hockey Canada. History Originally known as the South Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (1992–2006) the Prairie Junior Hockey League was founded in 2007–2008 with the merger of the SSJHL and the North Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (NSJHL). Richmond Sockeyes
The Richmond Sockeyes are a Junior "B" ice hockey team based in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. They were named the "Sockeyes" by the original owner and longtime Richmond resident and B.C. hockey volunteer and leader Bruce Allison in 1972. Allison was motivated to bring top-level junior hockey to Richmond while also encouraging local players to play closer to home and stay in school.
