Sri Shirdi Saibaba Mahathyam
''Sri Shirdi Saibaba Mahathyam'' is a 1986 Telugu-language hagiographical film written and directed by K. Vasu, based on the life of Sai Baba of Shirdi who has preached and practiced Religious humanism. Vijayachander portrayed the role of Baba. The film was a blockbuster and remained a cult classic. The film ran for 175 days in 12 centers, was screened at the International Film Festival of India and the Moscow Film Festival. The soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja, with lyrics written by Acharya Aatreya, and received wide appreciation. The film was dubbed into Hindi as ''Shirdi Sai Baba Ki Kahani'' and into Tamil as ''Sri Shirdi Saibaba''. Plot Sadguru Sai Baba of Shirdi lived in British India. Vijayachander, (born Vijayachander Telidevara), is an Indian actor, director and producer, known for his works in Telugu cinema, theatre, and television. Suthi Veerabhadra Rao
Mamidipalli Veerabhadra Rao (1947–1988), commonly known as Sutti Veerabhadra Rao, was an Indian actor known for his comic and character roles in Telugu cinema. He was also a radio and theatre artist. Early life Veerabhadra Rao was the only son, and had two younger sisters. He hailed from the East Godavari District (born at Ayanapuram) of Andhra Pradesh, and moved to Vijayawada due to his father's job. Dandakam
Dandakam or Dhandakam (Telugu: దండకం) is a literary style of poetry seen in Sanskrit prosody, Telugu and Kannada languages. The Stotrams of the Dandakam exceed 26 syllables, and resemble prose. Though verbose and rich in content, Dandakams are actually rarely found in Sanskrit literature when compared to general Stotrams perhaps due to their very complex structure. Most of the Dandakams can be set to a musical notation and are generally sung as Ragamalikas instead of chanting them in the form of Mantras.
