Squier Gary Jarman Signature Bass
The Gary Jarman Signature Bass is an electric bass guitar manufactured by Fender/Squier in 2016, designed by Gary Jarman of The Cribs. It was released in August 2016 alongside the Squier Ryan Jarman Signature Guitar 'Mus-Uar'. Talking to ''Total Guitar'', Jarman explained that the bass was an amalgamation of his favorite Fender models. Prior to the release of his signature instrument, Jarman had usually been seen using Fender Mustang Basses and Precision Basses. He claims the concept of his signature instrument was influenced by both these basses, as well as an obscure Fender design from the 1960s, the Bass V. Squier
Squier is an American brand of electric guitars owned by Fender. The former manufacturing company, established as "V. C. Squier Company" was founded in 1890 by Victor Carroll Squier in Battle Creek, Michigan, producing strings for violins, banjos, and guitars. In 1965, the company was acquired by Fender. By 1975, Squier became defunct as a manufacturer and a brand name for strings, as Fender opted to market its strings under the Fender brand name. Gary John Jarman is a British musician, best known as the bassist and one of the singers of the indie rock band The Cribs. Formed in 2002, The Cribs have released eight albums to date, and numerous singles and EPs. their latest three records have charted in the UK top 10, alongside 7 top 40 singles. He has lived in Portland, Oregon, since 2006. The band consists of his twin brother Ryan and his younger brother Ross. Gary is the most political member of The Cribs, and can regularly be heard in interviews criticizing inequality and misogyny in the music industry. The Cribs
The Cribs are a British indie rock band originally from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, that formed in 2001. The band consists of twins Gary Jarman, Gary and Ryan Jarman and their younger brother Ross Jarman. They were subsequently joined by ex-The Smiths, Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, who was an official member of the group from 2008 until 2011. The Squier Ryan Jarman Signature Guitar is an electric guitar manufactured by the Fender/Squier company in August 2016. It was designed by Ryan Jarman of The Cribs as his signature model instrument. The Fender Mustang Bass is a shortscale electric bass guitar model produced by Fender and Squier. Two variants, the Musicmaster Bass and the Bronco Bass, have also been produced from time to time, using the same body and neck shape. Originally marketed as a student bass, the Mustang Bass is notable for its usage in alternative and indie genres. Fender Precision Bass
The Fender Precision Bass (or "P-Bass") is a model of bass guitar, electric bass guitar manufactured by Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. In its standard, post-1957 configuration, the Precision Bass is a solid body, four-stringed instrument usually equipped with a single split-coil humbucker, humbucking pickup and a one-piece, 20-fret maple neck with rosewood or maple fingerboard.
