Square Top Mountain
Square Top Mountain is a mountain summit in Clear Creek County, Colorado, United States. Description Square Top Mountain is set approximately east of the Continental Divide in the Front Range which is a subrange of the Rocky Mountains. The mountain is located west-southwest of Denver and west of Guanella Pass on land managed by Arapaho National Forest and Pike National Forest. It ranks as the 111th-highest peak in Colorado. Precipitation runoff from the mountain's north slope drains into South Clear Creek and the south slope drains to Geneva Creek. Topographic relief is significant as the summit rises above Geneva Creek in two miles (3.2 km) and above Smelter Gulch in one mile (1.6 km). Argentine Peak is a high mountain summit in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains of North America. The thirteener is located in Arapaho National Forest, southwest by south ( bearing 211°) of Georgetown, Colorado, United States. Mount Bierstadt is a mountain summit in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, in the U.S. state of Colorado. The fourteener is located in the Mount Evans Wilderness of Pike National Forest, south by east ( bearing 171°) of the Town of Georgetown in Clear Creek County. It was named in honor of Albert Bierstadt, an American landscape painter who made the first recorded summit of the mountain in 1863. Dillon Reservoir, sometimes referred to as Lake Dillon, is a large fresh water reservoir located in Summit County, Colorado, United States, south of I-70 and bordered by the towns of Frisco, Silverthorne, and Dillon. Pike National Forest
The Pike National Forest is located in the Front Range of Colorado, United States, west of Colorado Springs including Pikes Peak. The forest encompasses 1,106,604 acres (4,478 km2) within Clear Creek, Teller, Park, Jefferson, Douglas and El Paso counties.
