Spyro (character)
Spyro is the primary main character and titular protagonist of the Spyro, video game series of the same name, including ''The Legend of Spyro'', and a guest character in the ''Skylanders'' series, first appearing in ''Spyro the Dragon'' in 1998. Spyro is an energetic, young, male, purple European dragon, dragon. He is known for his ability to defeat enemies by breathing fire and charging at them, and his ability to Gliding flight, glide to otherwise unreachable areas in the game world. Spyro is often accompanied by his best friend Sparx, who is a dragonfly. Spyro was created by Craig Stitt and designed by Charles Zembillas for Insomniac Games, the developers of the first three games in the series. ''Spyro'' is a Platformer, platform game series originally created by Insomniac Games as an exclusive for Sony Interactive Entertainment, Sony's PlayStation (console), PlayStation console. The series features the adventures of the main protagonist of Spyro (character), the title character, a dragon. Since the series' introduction in 1998, there have been numerous sequels and a reboot trilogy. The European dragon is a legendary creature in folklore and mythology among the overlapping culture of Europe, cultures of Europe. Crash Bandicoot (character)
Crash Bandicoot is the title character and main protagonist of the '' Crash Bandicoot'' franchise. Introduced in the 1996 video game '' Crash Bandicoot'', Crash is a mutant eastern barred bandicoot who was genetically enhanced by the series' main antagonist Doctor Neo Cortex and soon escaped from Cortex's castle after a failed experiment in the "Cortex Vortex". Charles Steve Zembillas is an American character designer, art director, educator, and author. Zembillas designed early concept art for games such as ''Crash Bandicoot'', '' Spyro the Dragon'', and '' Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy'', as well as animated television series such as '' Wish Kid'', '' Where's Waldo?'', '' James Bond Jr.'', and ''Ghostbusters''.
