Springfield-Ritchot is a provincial electoral district in the Canadian province of Manitoba that came into effect at the 2019 Manitoba general election. It contains the R.M. of Ritchot, Niverville and the west of the R.M. of Springfield. In 2019, it elected Ron Schuler to the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba. Springfield is a rural municipality (RM) in Manitoba, Canada. It stretches from urban industrial development on the eastern boundary of the City of Winnipeg, through urban, rural residential, agricultural and natural landscapes, to the Agassiz Provincial Forest on the municipality's eastern boundary. Birds Hill Provincial Park nestles into the north-western corner of Springfield. Ron Schuler
Ronald Reinhold Schuler is a Canadian politician. He is currently a member of the Manitoba Legislature and a representative of the Progressive Conservative Party (PCs). He was first elected in the 1999 provincial election. and was re-elected in the 2003, 2007, 2011, 2016, and 2019 elections. After the PCs won control of the Manitoba government in the 2016 election, Premier of Manitoba Brian Pallister appointed Schuler Minister of Crown Services. On August 17, 2017 he was named Minister of Infrastructure. On December 30, 2021 Schuler was removed from cabinet. Personal life and education Schuler was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Morris (electoral District)
Morris is a former provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was created by redistribution in 1879 and named after the town and municipality of Morris, which in turn are named after Alexander Morris, who served as Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba from 1872 to 1877. Following the redistribution of Manitoba electoral districts in 2011, the riding was bordered to the south by Emerson, to the north by Lakeside, to the west by Midland and Portage la Prairie, and to the east by Steinbach, Dawson Trail, Assiniboia, Kirkfield Park and Charleswood. The 2019 Manitoba general election was held on September 10, 2019, to elect the 57 members to the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba. The incumbent Progressive Conservatives, led by Premier Brian Pallister, were re-elected to a second majority government with a loss of two seats. Niverville is a town in the Eastman Region, Manitoba, Canada. The town lies between the northwest corner of the Rural Municipality of Hanover and the southeastern portion of the Rural Municipality of Ritchot. Niverville's population as of the 2021 census is 5,947, the largest town and 10th-largest community in Manitoba. La Verendrye is a provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was created by redistribution in 1879, and has existed since that time. La Verendrye is located southeastern region of Manitoba.
