Spring Up
''Spring Up'' is the debut extended play by the South Korean boy band Astro. The album was released digitally and physically on February 23, 2016 by Fantagio. The EP contains five tracks, including the singles "Hide & Seek" and "Cat's Eye". Background and release In mid-January 2016, Fantagio announced that Astro would release a debut EP on February 23. On February 11, the first teaser video for the album was posted, presenting members of the group. On February 15, a "Highlight Video" was posted, presenting all the songs on the album. Astro (; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean boy band formed by Fantagio. The group is composed of four members: MJ (South Korean singer), MJ, Jinjin, Cha Eun-woo, and Yoon San-ha. Originally a sextet, Rocky (singer), Rocky departed from the group on February 28, 2023, and Moonbin died on April 19, 2023. They debuted on February 23, 2016, with the extended play ''Spring Up'' and were subsequently named as one of the best new K-pop acts of 2016 by ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard''. ''Music Bank'' () is a South Korean music program which airs every Friday at 17:15 KST on KBS2. the show is also broadcast in more than a hundred countries through KBS World. Episodes are filmed at the KBS New Wing Open Hall in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu. The show also organizes the global live concert '' Music Bank World Tour''. History Prior to ''Music Bank'', ''Top 10 Songs'' (가요톱10) debuted in 1981 airing live at 6:30 (KST) on Fridays and aired until 1998. ''Inkigayo'' (; English title: ''The Music Trend'', previously ''Popular Song'') is a South Korean music program broadcast by SBS. It airs live every Sunday. The show features some of the latest and most popular artists who perform on stage. It is broadcast from the SBS Open Hall in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
