Sebastian Spreng (born April 6, 1956) is an Argentine-born American visual artist and music journalist. He is a self-taught artist. He lives in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. Biography Sebastian Spreng was born on April 6, 1956 in Esperanza, Santa Fe in Argentina. In 1987, he settled in Miami, Florida and has been a vital presence in the Florida art scene. His awards include the ''Hortt Competition'' at the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale and the 1995 ''Personal Achievement Award'' from the Muscular Dystrophy Association for the State of Florida, since earlier childhood, Spreng suffers from muscular dystrophy. In 1994, he was commissioned by Metro-Dade Art In Public Places to create a permanent exhibition at the Miami-Dade Government Center. In 2012, he was selected as one of the "100 Latinos of Miami", along other personalities, and as the 2013 Visual Artist of the 11th Edition of the Music@Menlo Chamber Music Festival in Atherton, California. The 30 cm Wurfkörper 42 Spreng was an unguided spin-stabilized artillery rocket developed by Germany and used by the Wehrmacht during World War II. Design The 30 cm Wurfkörper 42 Spreng was conceptually similar to earlier rockets such as the ''15 cm Wurfgranate 41'' ''Spreng'', ''21 cm Wurfgranate 42 Spreng'', ''28 cm Wurfkörper 42 Spreng'', and ''32 cm Wurfkörper M F1 50''. The rocket was fired electrically and the main difference was the 30 cm Wurfkörper had a higher payload to weight ratio, better aerodynamic efficiency, and its launch signature was smaller than earlier rockets. Since the new rocket produced less smoke and flame than earlier rockets it improved crew survivability by reducing their susceptibility to counter-battery fire. Liselotte Spreng
Liselotte Spreng (15 February 1912 in Biel/Bienne, canton of Berne – 25 November 1992 in Villars-sur-Glâne, canton of Fribourg) was a Swiss women's rights activist and politician. She was the first female National Councillor from the canton of Fribourg. Life and career Liselotte Spreng was born in 1912 in Biel/Bienne to a physician. She studied medicine at the universities of Berne and Lausanne and opened a surgery with her husband in Fribourg in 1941. She was among the first women physicians in the canton. Spreng campaigned for women's suffrage and became the chairwoman of the Fribourg Organisation for Women's Suffrage in 1967. After women's suffrage was introduced in the canton of Fribourg in 1971, Spreng represented The Liberals in the Grand Council of Fribourg.
