Spravedlnost (television Miniseries)
Spravedlnost (English: ''Absolution'' or ''Justice'') is Czech crime television series. It tells story of police investigator Richard who investigates murder of prominent judge that was committed by his daughter Lily. The first episode premiered on 12 March 2017. It was directed by Peter Bebjak. Vetchý who starrs in the series collaborated with Bebjak on Případy 1. oddělení. Spravedlnost received Czech Lion Award for the best television film or miniseries of 2017. Plot Richard is a police investigator who hasn't seen his daughter Lily for very long time. The series starts when Lily shows up at his door and asks for help. She tells him that she fell in love with judge Kowalský but he attacked her and she killed him in self-defense. It is both based on the Endemol format ''Your Face Sounds Familiar'' and an adaptation of the Spanish ''"Tu cara me suena."'' The show was first broadcast on March 26, 2016, and is still aired. The show involves eight or ten celebrities (singers, actors and television personalities) portraying various iconic singers each week to win 25,000 CZK for their chosen charity. Format The show challenges celebrities to perform as different iconic music artists every week, which are chosen by the show's "Randomiser". They are then judged by the panel of celebrity judges. Temný kraj (The Dark Country) is a Czech television series that aired on TV Prima in 2017–2019. The main character of the series is a Prague policeman Petr Kraj who specializes in serial murders. He leaves for the countryside to recover after a sudden collapse. Here he meets colleagues from the district department who investigate a complex case of serial murder. The ambiguous name of the series refers not only to the place of its action, but also to the name of the main character. Each serial murder case is divided into two episodes. The first season of the series was broadcast from January to April 2017. It was among the most successful series of Prima in recent years.
